OK. I've had enough of this, please. Since the technical side of the bug report has been excessively dealt with, I suggest closing it as "not a bug", since we have an Eclipse developer's confirmation. As far as the non-technical side of the bug report goes, I'd suggest that Erwin takes that discussion somewhere else. We're building a universal operating system, and abusing the bug tracker for flamewars does not help.
