This is obviously a problem with firefox being renamed to iceweasel and thunderbird being renamed to icedove - the library paths are changing, hence the eclipse startup script cannot find the correct lib to integrate Mozilla into Eclipse. Additionally, the lib that Eclipse looks for is not in the usual packages, you need xulrunner or others (try apt-file search embedmoz).
