tag 412478 wontfix thanks AFAIK the Debian kernels have capabilities compiled in (please correct me if I am wrong). Tomcat should not deal with loading kernel modules.
If you compile a custom kernel, you are responsible for loading required modules. Just add it to "/etc/modules". (Or compile it in, which seems to make more sense.) Regards Marcus
