I don't know if what I observe is related to this bug, but when trying the provided example I get a truncated menu with jamvm and a full menu with kaffe (see attached screenshot). With cacao (0.98-2) I get: $ cacao jmenu LOG: [0x300215c0] threads_impl_thread_start: pthread_attr_setstacksize failed: Invalid argument Aborted (core dumped) I'm running an etch/sid mixture on powerpc, with the 2:0.95-1 classpath packages I built on my laptop (since the buildd are lagging on ppc for this package).
