Package: avalon-framework
Version: 4.2.0-7
Severity: minor
Hello Debian people :)
This is the first bug I'm forwarding upstream. I hope everything is Ok with
it...
pura vida.
This report was originally filled by Kyle Nitzsche at:
https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/avalon-framework/+bug/610616
The debian/copyright asserts it is formatted according to the Dep5 proposed
standard but is invalid in a couple respects.
Attached [1] a patch (bzr diff on the file) that brings it into conformance
with the current draft version (135, see
http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/dep/web/deps/dep5.mdwn?op=file&rev=135).
These are the changes:
* Added URL to the version of the draft standard the copyright file
implements
* Changed "License: ..." lines to validly assert Apache-2.0 license (
spaces are not allowed in license names)
* created new free-standing "License: " stanza to hold previously
redundant text that says where to find apache-2.0 license text
* removed line about where pom files were downloaded from. Is this info
required? if so, I am not sure how to add it, perhaps with a new
header starting with "X-", as in "X-Downloaded: ..."
Attached bzr diff is against lp:ubuntu/avalon-framework.
