It looks like SWT doesn't support webkit2-gtk well [1][2], upstream is struggling to fix the remaining issues. I'll try to upgrade sw4-gtk to the latest 4.7.1 release and see if it's good enough to load the HTML pages in tuxguitar and azureus.
