apache-curator is a dependency of hadoop, which is also a dependency of the recent versions of SolR. I packaged it in 2015 [1] but I never uploaded it by lack of time to work out the final details. I'll see if I can easily upgrade apache-curator, otherwise I have no objection to remove it.
