Sorry, I am still confused. What confuses me is that when I look at upstream issue #944 I see a conversation, not a patch against current version in Debian upstable. Please note that I do *not* insist that you must provide a patch, I only try to understand you, and understand what is the status here. It seems to me that no patch exist for current version in Debian unstable to work with webpack5, but instead a patch exist (by you) against newer upstream release 1.2.1, and some upstream *draft* work exist as well. Am I missing something?
