Hello Jérémy, tonight I was looking at node-inherits (because of node-glob), and it seems like you've mixed the current repository with the "old-upstream-based one".
First of all, I'd like to state that I'm against Debian-native packages: *each* fix, even if only inside debian/, makes a new release. This way you make life difficult to other distributions (who might happen not to like Isaac's license). I suggest, instead, to make a "proper" package. You can probably use github or gitorious, and host the "forked" inherits there. Then just use tags to make "upstream releases". Then just import the package (git-import-orig), and treat it like you would do with other packages. This way you decouple Debian packaging from effective upstream work (which should be approximately null, since the code is really small). Other than this, if you really want to make it Debian-native (which I'm against to, I repeat myself), before uploading it please fix the git repository. You can just delete it and recreate it from scratch. Have a nice evening, David (now heading to other packages for npm) -- . ''`.
