I think you should use a short description of: 'os' module from node.js, but for browsers. or perhaps: provides an 'os' module for use with browserify As it is, the short description does not make it clear that this module stands in for the standard 'os' module. In fact it makes it seem like it might be a polyfill, which I assume it is not, in fact.
