Hi Winnie, I tested the 1.8.1 experimental source on lenny.
dpkg-buildpackage stops with: Making all in mpi make[5]: Entering directory `/home/ltmp/debian-lustre/lustre-1.8.1/debian/build/lustre/tests/mpi' mpicc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../../../../../lustre/tests/mpi -I../../.. -D__arch_lib__ -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE=1 -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -DLUSTRE_UTILS -include /ltmp/debian-lustre/lustre-1.8.1/debian/build/config.h -I/ltmp/debian-lustre/lustre-1.8.1/debian/build/lnet/include -I/home/ltmp/debian-lustre/lustre-1.8.1/lnet/include -I/home/ltmp/debian-lustre/lustre-1.8.1/lustre/include -I/ltmp/debian-lustre/lustre-1.8.1/debian/build/lnet/include -I/ltmp/debian-lustre/lustre-1.8.1/debian/build/lustre/include -g -Wall -fPIC -D_GNU_SOURCE -Wall -g -O2 -O2 -Werror -c `test -f '../../../../../lustre/tests/mpi/parallel_grouplock.c' || echo '../../../../../lustre/tests/mpi/'`../../../../../lustre/tests/mpi/parallel_grouplock.c ../../../../../lustre/tests/mpi/parallel_grouplock.c:53:39: error: lustre/tests/mpi/lp_utils.h: No such file or directory When I set the toplevel directory as additional include directory (export CPPFLAGS=-I/ltmp/debian-lustre/lustre-1.8.1), the packages are built without any problem. A build of the patchless modules for a 2.6.27.31 kernel on this lenny system was also fine, and I could mount the Lustre filesystem (although with some strange performance problems). Thanks for providing the 1.8.1 packages so promptly after release, bye, Ralf -- Ralf Utermann _____________________________________________________________________ Universität Augsburg, Institut für Physik -- EDV-Betreuer Universitätsstr.1 D-86135 Augsburg Phone: +49-821-598-3231 SMTP: ralf.uterm...@physik.uni-augsburg.de Fax: -3411 _______________________________________________ Pkg-lustre-maintainers mailing list Pkg-lustre-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-lustre-maintainers
