Hi again,

I need to remove the existing ligthting package. By this all other
packages that depend on lightning would get an unreasonable dependency.
I could prevent this by adding a Provides to the thunderbird package.
But I'd like to prevent this as the packages that depend on this will be
rather small (haven't done any research on that yet) and I'd like to see
their dependencies fixed instead.

I finally got all parts together and uploaded version 1:76.0~b1-1 to experimental. Due the new binary packages

thunderbird-l10n-cak
thunderbird-l10n-ka
thunderbird-l10n-uz

the upload went to NEW.

For now the lightning package has become an transitional package, I tend to drop this package as well once I've digging more into the automatic provides thing. Currently packages like webext-tbsync got removed instead of staying installed.

If you want to give the new packages a try please keep in mind that you should make a backup of your profiles first before starting this beta version!! The new versions adds some new configurations keys that are not backwards compatible and you won't be able to reuse your profile within 1:68.x versions.
