Stop. dpkg-buildpackage: error: /usr/bin/fakeroot debian/rules clean gave error exit status Looking at the cdbs changelog, copyright-check.mk appears to have been merged in to utils.mk in a recent upload.

I knew that I had uploaded a single package taking advantage of that recent cdbs change before I changed my mind yesterday and restructured cdbs, just couldn't remember which.
