Package: mpv
Version: 0.3.5-1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

I sometimes use mpv to listen to online audio streams. Something useful that I
find lacking in mpv but available in mplayer2 though is the output of stream
metadata. mplayer2 for example displays the artist and title of the currently
playing song. This is something I would like to have displayed in mpv's output
as well, but either mpv currently doesn't have this ability or I can't seem to
find how to tell it to do so.

I would very much appreciate it if the maintainer/upstream could look into this
functionality.

The playlist that I'm using should be attached.

This was fixed in the libav 6:10~beta2-2 upload to experimental as well.

Cheers
