That part needs update anyway.
I don't feel like populating our "bits" with allegations on the
matter, and I guess others like me don't too. No more polemic, we
have, already, had enough of it.
Though having said that, and seen what the majority of us has publicly
expressed recently, I would like to state the rationale behind our
position against the proposal to replace libav with FFmpeg instead,
which could be AFAICT fundamentally summaried as "it's too late for
Jessie".

What do you think about it?
