The Libav homepage [1] gives me a different impression:
"Special note: The 0.8 branch of libav is now more than 2 years old --
downstreams are recommended to update sooner rather than later as 0.8.17
will be the final official release for this branch."

So there is no Libav upstream security support for wheezy anymore,
not to mention squeeze LTS.
