Here ↑↑ is a template. Tmpty. Please take the time to fill it the next time. > -- System Information: > Debian Release: stretch/sid > APT prefers testing Ok, Debian stretch aka testing. > Would one please provide libstdc++6 for blender which should work for me > urgently. Currently blender ain't in Debian testing, it got removed from them yesterday to try moving the libstdc++6 transition on. So, how do you get that version? I'm tempted to say you tried to install the unstable package in testing, and this won't work until the new gcc-5 will migrate, hopefully in a matter of days. If you are really really in hurry to get a working version of blender try fetching the package that was in testing from snapshot.d.o: http://snapshot.debian.org/archive/debian/20150720T155352Z/pool/main/b/blender/blender_2.74%2Bdfsg0-4_amd64.deb (SHA-1: 6ebc045a8c2784ce7282d4145152a0386b65c1a9) Haven't tried myself, but it has good chances to work fine. -- regards, Mattia Rizzolo GPG Key: 66AE 2B4A FCCF 3F52 DA18 4D18 4B04 3FCD B944 4540 .''`. more about me: http://mapreri.org : :' : Launchpad user: https://launchpad.net/~mapreri `. `'` Debian QA page: https://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=mattia `-
