Esteemed Developers,

First and foremost, I'd like to thank you for the fact that you have taken
the newer version of OpenShot (the 2.x series) under your wings:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openshot-qt

Since debian is so well known for it's rock-solid stability, I am hoping
that the OpenShot project (https://github.com/openshot) will soon receive
bug-fixes and other patches from you.

I would like to point the esteemed developer's attention towards the fact
that, currently, OpenShot, despite the stability issues, is the most
user-friendly of Video Editors on Linux. While other projects often
overwhelm/intimidate the users, this one strives for simplicity. Despite
this, OpenShot is a powerful Non-Linear Video editor. It's keyframe-prowess
is arguably the best among all of the Video Editors that we currently have
for Linux. Even KdenLive only has one or two keyframe-able effects, but in
OpenShot - Everything is keyframe-able.

Please do make OpenShot 2.x a priority among you.

I look forward to the day when OpenShot, with the help of esteemed
developers like you, shall one day become rock solid stable. And Filmmaking
on Linux will become a fun thing.

With much hope,
- A well-wisher of the OpenShot Project

P. S: I wonder why the launchpad link says it doesn't know about the
upstream. I'm afraid that will hinder the upstream from getting packages
from the maintainers. I hope some of you might look into fixing it...
