Is this a problem with a missing -fPIC somewhere, as stated in a message that deals with a similar message, as in: https://lists.debian.org/debian-powerpc/2010/06/msg00012.html Is there anyway to discover what package may be at fault here? One of the reasons why I am trying to use mplayer and not mpv is that, with mpv, they are removing more and more video backends...
