libextutils-pkgconfig-perl was in main up until precise libextutils-depends-perl was in main up until trusty
Back then it seems they were in as build-deps that back then needed to be in main still. Both were a build-dep of libglib-perl for example. Usually cases that were in main before get a fast path back into main, but one would want to find the old reasoning/discussions in case there were special constraints listed. Of these two I failed to find the old bugs/mails/... - anyone having old references of these? Also as of today none of the Teams seems subscribed, so even if we find the old cases and quick-ack the new MIR based on the old discussion, we will need a team to step up and own it from now on. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Debian Perl Group, which is subscribed to libextutils-depends-perl in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1846217 Title: [MIR] libextutils-depends-perl, libextutils-pkgconfig-perl (dependency of libcairo-gobject-perl) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libcairo-gobject-perl/+bug/1846217/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~pkg-perl-maintainers Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~pkg-perl-maintainers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
