Package: optipng Version: 0.7.7-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
While preparing another package (puredata) i faced the task of wanting to convert a GIF file to a PNG file during package build, using a lightweight solution. 'optipng' seemed like the perfect match for this. However, it appears that 'optipng' cannot easily be used in a cross-building environment, as it doesn't set the "Multi-Arch" field. In all multi-arch situations i can think of, we want 'optipng' to be *runnable*. I would therefore highly appreciate it, if you could add a "Multi-Arch: foreign" stanza to your d/control Thanks for your consideration. -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'testing-debug'), (500, 'oldstable-updates'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (500, 'oldstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.15.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages optipng depends on: ii libc6 2.33-1 ii libpng16-16 1.6.37-3 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.11.dfsg-2 optipng recommends no packages. optipng suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- Pkg-phototools-devel mailing list [email protected] https://alioth-lists.debian.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-phototools-devel
