Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?
starting hugin
import 2x png images to stich.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

manually set "control points".
adding first control point works.
while defining the second control point gnome-desktop crashes without synching
filesystem or giving usable error-log output

   * What was the outcome of this action?

GDM3 will be restarted reproduceable which kills immediately GNOME-desktop with
all running tasks and without flushing open files.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

expecting to be able to set an additional control point, and finally stich an
image.
