Package: libjpegli62
Version: 0.9.0~git20230623.689da0f-3
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
looking at the list of symbols of libjpeg62-turbo (e.g. at [1]) and the
interface implemented in [2], jpeg_crop_scanline, jpeg_skip_scanlines,
jpeg_write_icc_profile and jpeg_read_icc_profile seem to be
implemented. Hence, libjpegli62 should declare
Provides: libjpeg62-turbo (= 1:2.0.2)
and not just (= 1.3.1) since it is actually compatible with the newer
API and ABI.
Best regards,
Julian

Hi,
upstream separated out development libjpegli from jpeg-xl, so this
bugreport is not relevant anymore, since libjpegli should be introduced
as a new package and not part of jpeg-xl, if packaged for Debian.
Best regards,
Julian
