Looks like initdb is filling up the disk until it panics because there's no space left. It affects PostgreSQL 9.5devel as well. Fwiw, postgresql-9.1 won't be part of stretch, it is a perl- compatibility package for upgrades from wheezy to jessie and will be removed as soon as jessie is released.
