Hi, libpq-dev used to have extra -dev dependencies, but these were removed when openssl in Debian unstable was "split" into libssl-dev and libssl1.0-dev in order to avoid unnecessary conflicts. I guess we should reevaluate the situation to make linking against libpq and -server-dev easier again. > Package: postgresql-server-dev-10 > Source: postgresql-10 > Version: 10.0-1.pgdg17.04+1 > Architecture: amd64 > Maintainer: Debian PostgreSQL Maintainers < > pkg-postgresql-public@lists.alioth.debian.org> > Installed-Size: 4870 > Depends: libpq-dev (>= 10~~), postgresql-common (>= 142~), libc6 (>= 2.14) > Breaks: postgresql-server-dev-all (<< 181~) > Section: libdevel > Priority: optional > > It seems to be wrong. Can you be so kind to add libicu-dev to depentences? What software were you trying to compile when you noticed the problem?
