PulseAudio worked for me perfectly . But that all changed about two days
ago . It stopped working completely  .

The daemon starts successfully  but I think  the problem is in the
output sink  .

Although I don't think that's related , If you are interested in the
device details  the lspci  output is :
00:1f.5 Multimedia audio controller: Intel Corporation 82801DB/DBL/DBM
(ICH4/ICH4-L/ICH4-M) AC'97 Audio Controller (rev 02)

I'm not an expert in pulseaudio commands or files so I will post 2
screenshots from the pulseaudio manager for the 'devices' and 'modules' .
