Package: pulseaudio Version: 0.9.15-2 Severity: normal I’m seeing the same symptoms here with the latest PA from sid. I have checked that the correct profile is selected, so this is not the problem.
Applications using PA are seen by various PA tools and the vumeter shows a varying volume. However there is no sound coming from the speakers. I can hear some small crackles, only when the playback is on, and changing the volume affects the volume of the crackles. 00:14.2 Audio device: ATI Technologies Inc SBx00 Azalia (Intel HDA) Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.
