Package: pulseaudio
Version: 6.0-5
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

This is a very strange problem, related to pulseaudio : I can't get the sound
when I play a dvd, and only in this situation, everything else works.

I'm using pulseaudio over the network, with a sound server, with module-native-
protocol-tcp, and as soon as I start to play the movie, I've got thoses traces
in the syslog (without any sound of course) :

Aug 10 11:50:22 goku pulseaudio[1510]: [pulseaudio] protocol-native.c: Client
sent non-aligned memblock: index 0, length 1448, frame size: 24
Aug 10 11:50:22 goku pulseaudio[1510]: [pulseaudio] protocol-native.c: Client
sent non-aligned memblock: index 1448, length 1448, frame size: 24
Aug 10 11:50:22 goku pulseaudio[1510]: [pulseaudio] protocol-native.c: Client
sent non-aligned memblock: index 2896, length 1448, frame size: 24
Aug 10 11:50:22 goku pulseaudio[1510]: [pulseaudio] protocol-native.c: Client
sent non-aligned memblock: index 4344, length 1448, frame size: 24
Aug 10 11:50:22 goku pulseaudio[1510]: [pulseaudio] protocol-native.c: Client
sent non-aligned memblock: index 5792, length 1448, frame size: 24
Aug 10 11:50:22 goku pulseaudio[1510]: [pulseaudio] protocol-native.c: Client
sent non-aligned memblock: index 7240, length 1448, frame size: 24
Aug 10 11:50:22 goku pulseaudio[1510]: [pulseaudio] protocol-native.c: Client
sent non-aligned memblock: index 8688, length 1448, frame size: 24

The problem occurs with different video player (mplayer, vlc), **and only**
when I send the sound to my server (listening the sound localy works fine),
**and only** with a dvd (a .avi movie is ok, playing a mp3 too; strangely the
music played during the dvd menu is ok too)

I've downgrade pulseaudio to 5.0-13 on the server and it's works for me now.

I can make some tests for you if you need.

Regards,

Sébastien
