Subject: Bug#600336: rhythmbox: Claims audio device all for itself
This bug was reported against a very old version of pulseaudio.
Do you still see this issue in the current version in stable?
I'm still running testing, but I don't see the issue anymore. I first
had to find out which package has 'play' though and I found out it was
'sox'. After installing it and playing something, I found it plays fine
with and without Rhythmbox running.
So I guess somehow the problem is solved or became irrelevant.
