Package: mongrel Version: 1.1.5-3 mongrel 1.1.5-3 requires libruby1.8 >= 1.8.7.2 on amd64 (but only >= 1.8.6.111 on i386). however, there is nothing about mongrel itself that requires a particular version of ruby -- nor is there, as far as I can tell, anything about the debian modifications to mongrel that would require 1.8.7.
