Let me rephrase that: Why is the system time changed every 5s? How much does your clock drift in that time frame? I'm asking, because changing the system time every 5s seems pretty excessive and I try to understand why your system does it. -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
