I think I managed to get something going last time I had a look at it, although it was a bit hack-ish. In such a case, what would be the best way to discuss the proposed patches - issue tracker or there is some sort of mailing list? From what I can tell, the main difficulty comes from certain packages providing both the init script and systemd service files.
