Hi. I can't do any update on my system (Ubuntu 8.04) because there is a broken
package ("policykit-gnome"). I do try to remove this using all the available
commands. But the system always returns an error message:

dpkg-query: erro de interpretação, no ficheiro `/var/lib/dpkg/status' perto da
linha 27306 pacote `policykit-gnome':

Then I'd opened the "status" file and I'd found the lines associated to the
package:

Package: policykit-gnome
Status: install ok installed

What can I do to fix this problem?

Thanks!
