directfb has been orphaned in Debian since 2018 and is effectively
unmaintained.
If DirectFB support is considered to be an essential part of baresip,
please adopt the directfb package (possibly in collaboration with the
maintainers of other packages that depend on it) and fix its RC bugs.
Or, if the baresip maintainers are not interested in adopting directfb,
please consider disabling the DirectFB backend and removing the
build-dependency. If I'm reading correctly, there is already support in
the build system for building without directfb, for non-Linux ports.
Thanks,
smcv
