Bug#1031046: End user options for asterisk in Debian?

I am still running one bullseye machine here for asterisk, having 
upgraded everything else to bookworm. I was hoping there would only be 
one release missing the package. With trixie on the horizon expected to 
still not have asterisk packaged, what are my options going forward once 
bullseye runs out of LTS?
