I'm not sure if this bugreport is caused by the xfce4-panel or the
(xf)desktop(4) (or hal?).
When I hit the "Quit"-button in the xfce4-menu the .xsession-errors-log
says:

Btw, there's a README.Debian which explains how to use hal/dbus to be
allowed to shutdown.
