Dear Debian XFCE group.

After packaging and testing the thunarx-python package (bug #572853), I am
wondering if someone here from the XFCE group is willing to sponsor this
package for reviewing and uploading?

My results are currently available and ready for review in OBS:

The thunarx-python package enables you to implement Thunar extensions as a
Python script. I personally use this on a daily basis in combination with
RabbitVCS. I am willing to maintain this package in the future as well.

Currently, thunarx-python v0.3.0 is available on all major distros with the
exception of Debian and Ubuntu. The reason for this is a configuration /
installation issue related to the location of lib64 on Debian based systems.
This has already been fixed upstream in v0.4.0. However, this version cannot be
used (yet), because it requires Thunar 1.7.0 (GTK3). I went ahead and
backported the fix into v0.3.0 and all works well now.

In case this package gets accepted, I also intend to work on the related
rabbitvcs-thunar package (bug #664970).

I look forward to your response. Feel free to contact me for further questions
or comments.

With kind regards and enjoy your day,

-Frank
