Hihi, it's Impie again,

This e-mail will intend to very briefly help to improve your comprehension of
the stats in the ACC. In general, you can compare the stats to rl equivalents.
Sports are a good one for this. For 23 – 26 Dexterity, think of those guys that
run along rooftops and do crazy flips and stuff, or an Olympic gymnast. At the
very high levels, you’d be as agile as those crazy people or the gymnasts and
able to pretty much perform any acrobatic feat any human on this world can,
without the Force to help you. So bear that in mind (Impetus, I’m looking at
you) when you have a dexterity of 23 and use the Force to do a backflip.

In general, if you have a very high stat involved, think of the best in the
real world. 10 – 12 is the average human. For something like 18 – 20, that kind
of region dexterity, imagine somewhere in the middle, like a football player.
He’s gotta be quick and agile, much quicker than the average person, but
nowhere near the levels of agility a gymnast needs. That said, let’s go on to
individual stats and briefly explain them all. I’ve seen some people dismiss
certain stats as useless, but all stats have their uses.

Another important thing to remember is that the CS isn’t an ACC Sheet, it’s a
Character Sheet in general, for organised rps, run-ons, fictions, etc. Charisma
doesn’t have as many uses in the ACC as say strength or constitution. But in a
general fiction, Charisma is often hugely important in garnering support in an
unknown place for example, or if your character is a leader they need to have
some kind of charismatic presence.

Strength – How strong you are

Used for: Strength dictates physical attack power, how much you can lift, etc.
This determines how well you can break through an opponent’s guard with your
raw power, blocking strong attacks, how much damage you do when you hit
someone, etc. It’s probably among the simpler stats of the ACC.

Constitution – How tough you are

Used for: When you get hit. Someone with a low constitution falls apart at the
slightest touch, whereas someone with a high constitution can shrug off blaster
bolts and strikes that would kill most people. Another thing to consider is
endurance, with a low constitution, blocking all those strong lightsaber
attacks will take its toll on your wrist.

Dexterity – How fast you are

Used for: Running, jumping, dodging, anything that requires agility. Someone
with a high dexterity can perform incredible acrobatic feats without the use of
the Force, someone with a low dexterity can’t move about very well at all.
However, with a high DEX and low CON, you’re gonna get tired quickly.

Intelligence – How clever you are

Intelligence is incredibly misleading. While it does involve intelligence, the
main place you’ll see INT being used is in Force Powers, since INT is a measure
of how well you can use Force Powers with a physical effect. This is most of
them, healing, telekinesis, enhance ability, etc. Anything that’s not a mental
based power sums it up really.

Wisdom – How well you can apply your knowledge

Wisdom is used to apply knowledge and experience for a practical application of
them. Knowing a mathematical formula is one thing, being able to use it
practically is Wisdom. Wisdom is used for relying on life experience, and also
to resist any mental Force power used on you, such as a persuasive power.

Charisma – How awesome you are to people

This stat is hugely overlooked by many. Charisma gives your character a
personality that others can enjoy, and like being around. Charisma is the main
stat used in determining the effectiveness of a mental Force Power, and
generally how attractive you are to people. 26 Charisma has a huge fan club of
people willing to die for them, 3 Charisma gets you bullied at school for being
boring. Someone with a high charisma would be better at playing mind games, but
this stat carries much more importance outside of the ACC, as it’s the stat
used to interact with any other living person.

Force Defence – How resistant you are to the Force

A new stat, Force Defence dictates how well opponents’ Force Powers are on you.
It would affect things like how far they can throw you through the Force, and
is a passive power. It just happens that no-one can touch you through the Force
if you have 26 FD, rather than it being anything you consciously do.

Force Reflex – Recovery time

If you get hit by a Force Power, there’s a delay in which you need to recover
before you can use the Force to retaliate. This is what FR does. If you get hit
by a Force Power and have 26 FR, the opponent’s gonna be hit back before they
realise what happened. With a low value, you’re not gonna be using the Force
for a while.

Force Pool – How many times you can use the Force

A simple one to end, Force Pool is how many Force Powers you can use. Think of
a Force bar on a game, Force Pool is how big the bar is. Doesn’t affect
strength of them, but if you’re gonna push someone to the floor, lift them with
telekinesis, shock them, throw your saber at them and call it back, shock them
again then throw them onto the floor, you’re going to need a huge Force Pool.

And that concludes an overview of the stats, I’ll be writing a few more of
these soon on other areas .

Hope it helps!
