Torchlight filled the first chamber of the deep labyrinth that housed the
remains of the legendary slain god, Shintura. Banners of Exar Kun were spread
around, the members of the House had gathered for a celebration, a ceremony for
a new era. They looked up to a raised platform, their Quaestor stood there
gracefully with Koga Kage by her side. Cassandra stepped aside as a third
person came up beside them, as they flicked their hood back, gasps good be
heard echoing about. One of the Witches from the Tower of Durinmar had come as
well, she moved with much serenity as she pulled out a wrap that look like it
held weapons.
“It is good to see you again Lady Elana” The young female Warrior said with a
smile as she look towards the witch with a welcoming gaze.
In reply she only got a silent nod, but that put her at ease as she found that
the witches were always somewhat suspicious. She looked down the tunnel,
watching as the doors to the chamber closed the last of the House’s members
made their way into the crowd. Cassandra took a step forwards, looking out to
her House, she opened her mouth to speak and the Ceremony had begun.
“People of Exar Kun we have come to a new Era, one of new beginnings and power.
Exar’s shadow has served it’s propose, it has proved its strength and showed us
the striking might of our Elites. But time has changed, and with change comes
the end of their story.”
She took a pause, looking towards the members that had served in the team. Then
Cassandra saluted to Jendan Morgana, the Jedi Hunter returned it and walked
onto the platform.
“Jendan, you have served the House well and for that I would like to award you
with the Crest of the Shadows. Your efforts will never be forgotten, thank you…”
Koga stepped forwards and produced a metal forged crest; it bared the mark of
Exar’s shadow and had a crystal that glow a deep purple colour. The female Jedi
Hunter smiled; taking the crest she came back down from the platform and stood
with her House members once again.
“And with that comes a new beginning, to open up the gates of history and bring
forth a new power. The Blades of Kun once served the House with the greatest
power, it was feared, it was strong, it is the way forwards. In this new Era,
its re-birth is upon us and we gather here to witness the joining of its
members. First comes its Leader, step forth Tiberius Di Cloud”
The Male Jedi hunter grinned with pride as he stepped onto the stage, he came
in between the Quaestor and Aedile and there was a roar of applause.
“Tiberius, you have shown the House great loyalty and strength. We have watched
over you and seen your skills grow stronger, seen the traits of a Leader shine
from within you. You shall lead the Blades of Kun to victory, and show the
House the power the team will process.”
Cassandra turned and faced the Elana, she had unravelled the wrap she brought
with her and a sparkle from six daggers appeared. The Quaestor took the first
one, its blade was sharp and its hilt was light in her grip. Knowing that the
blade itself was forged with the witch’s power, it was a gift she had asked for
to resemble the power of the Battle Team.
“I give to you the Dagger of Shintura; its biting blade will aid your strength
and bring power to the Blades of Kun. Use this wisely, and together we can all
be triumphant”
She handed the dagger to Tiberius who took it with great honour, his eyes
looked at the sharp blade and a bitter smile filled his proud face.
“And now for the team’s members, it took time to select our new elites, but
Koga and I have seen the strength and power from five members. They will be the
faces of darkness, the honorary members of the Blades of Kun”
She finished talking and her Aedile took a step forwards; he saluted the House
and began to speak.
“These members are the hope of the future; they shall fight in the name of Exar
Kun and bring us out of the cold darkness. Come and step forth to our sides,
Habib Ali, Kyra Starfire, Furios, Phaeton and Ralph Vundu”
As the five came forwards, each were presented with the same dagger given to
Tiberius. The Quaestor smiled as each of them took the honour of the House upon
their shoulders, the team was together at last. A new page in its history had
just begun….

To the House of Exar Kun,
It was a vision of mine to have an active Battle team serve the House once
again, and with a short time wait, it has finally come. Each member has shown
us great achievement, and has earned their place in Blades of Kun. I would like
to thank them personally for each of their hard work; it is an honour to take a
place in a Battle team. So I hope this shows you all that hard work earns
a great achievement.
With the closure of Exar’s Shadow, I would like to thank its Battle Team Leader
and her members for their service to the House. Thank you for all your hard work
and I hope you all achieve big in the future for the Brotherhood.
Then comes the opening of Blades of Kun, it once was the old Battle Team for
the House and has been reborn under our command. Tiberius has been chosen to
take the role of Battle Team Leader, he has shown eagerness and great will to
achieve, I have high hopes he will do well. Its members were chosen by the
House Summit; each stood out and showed great achievement recently. They earned
the Honour of being placed into the team and for that I would like to send them
my congratulations.
So a new Era has begun for House Exar Kun, and I hope it brings us back to
great activity. Lets show Plagueis who is the dominate House, lets show them
the future of the Clan!
