[I believe it's Monday in most time zones...] I couldn't set aside the GC half-finished, and spent most of the time working on that, but it's complete and stable now, with better memory usage than Boehm. I haven't done any formal benchmarking yet, but I'm not too concerned about performance at the moment.
I've made a release available at http://synthcode.com/scheme/chibi-scheme-0.2.tgz and this weeks' blog post isn't directly about gsoc: http://synthcode.com/blog/2009/06/Small_is_Beautiful This should compile out of the box on Linux and OS X. It doesn't yet have the changes I've been making for Plan 9, but I wanted to put some usable code out there because people have been bugging me for a release. The Plan 9 work is in the early stages, but I'll be reporting more rapidly now that the biggest task is out of the way. -- Alex P.S. Devon or one of the other mentors, could you confirm off-list if you receive this? Apparently my previous mail didn't get through. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Plan 9 Google Summer of Code" group.
