I've had what I consider a bit of a sick and twisted idea for a little while...
How realistic would it be to port 9p/styx to the arduino? I've read somewhere that Plan9 and/or Inferno has been ported to embedded systems with as little as 1MB of memory. Do you think it could be shoehorned into 16K of flash and 1K of ram, or possibly 256K of flash and 8K of ram (for the mega)? One could always always add an I2C or SPI memory chip, but wouldn't it be twisted to have have one communicate 9p via USB... I'm not really thinking of trying this any time soon, but thought it was a twisted idea and was curious if it was even feasible...
