(sending a copy of this to the new planner list) I actually started on something like this a year or so ago. I got as far as being able to message the bot and have it give me my tasks for the day. I did it through ERC and Bitlbee, so the bot could be contacted on any number of different networks. The bot was an Erbot instance. Fun stuff, maybe I'll try to pick it back up again.
- original message - Subject: [emacs-wiki-discuss] AIM todo bot From: "Dave Bauer" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: 2006-06-23 21:51 This bot http://lifehacker.com/software/todotxt/geek-to-live-the-todotxt-aim-bot-182835.php can edit a todo.txt on your machine. Obvious issues with letting an AIM bot write files on your hard drive, but its still a cool idea. Would be fun to have a planner bot! A commeter also suggested a Jabber bot, which would also be fun. _______________________________________________ Planner-el-discuss mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/planner-el-discuss
