planner-gnus totally rocks. Don't forget to load it before loading remember and setting remember-annotation-functions to planner-annotation-functions. Alternatively, have (setq remember-annotation-functions planner-annotation-functions) near the end of your ~/.emacs. =) I use reply-type tasks all the time. Good to actually add more detail, too, as that helps when you're reviewing your task list.
