Where is this suggested? And why does it need to start with a letter?
The name attribute of element "A" is deprecated in XHTML 1.0 and is replaced by the "id" attribute. For compatibility reason, people also add name to the element. Here are some references: o http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/#h-4.10 o http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/#C_8 I think planner should give a widely compatibility for users, including those use XHTML 1.0 as their published pages. And for your second question. HTML 4.01 Specification has a requirement on the name of element id/name: http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/types.html#type-name Regards, Zhao Lei _______________________________________________ Planner-el-discuss mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/planner-el-discuss
