Hi Adrian:

>From now on, try to get into the habit of using Remember to create notes.
Remember will place notes on both the project page (or pages, if you use
planner-multi) and the day page automatically.

I'm not sure of an easy way to fix what you currently have. But the
function planner-timewarp changes planner's idea of what the current date
is. This might help if you want to use an existing planner function to copy
a note from MyValentineProject.muse to 2006.02.14.muse, for example.

Another approach would be to change planner-search-notes-with-body so that
it picks notes from project pages. That might involve a mere regexp change.

Good luck!

Subject: [Planner-el-discuss] How to move notes from project to day
        pages?

Hello All!

Now that I found that
C-c C-o C-b runs the command planner-search-notes-with-body
does not find notes on project pages I want to move them to the
appropriate day pages and adjust the note links accordingly.

Is there a wayt to do this correctly?

I have found
planner-replan-note
which at first created new pages of the the pattern
yyyy.mm.dd]]

I then found that kill/yank of day-page text will cause the trailing
]] annotation to be yanked invisibly as well.

When I move back on the day page link until the pointer starts to move
I can avoid getting the ]] into the kill ring as well.

Perhaps planner-match-string-no-properties needs to be used in more
places?

Aimed with that knowledge I can move notes to day pages, but their
links are not getting updated accordingly!

How can I achieve that?

Being able to find notes on project pages as well as day pages would
be a good alternative for me.

Thanks in advance!

Adrian
