Hm, I can think of lots of times when I wouldn't want this. Are you saying that
the way you often create tasks is to highlight some text in a buffer and then
paste it as the task description when prompted?

I guess part of the reason I wouldn't want this is that I don't use the mouse
to highlight text in Emacs unless I'm pasting it somewhere outside Emacs.

Maybe something analogous to the way that C-u M-x remember uses the current
region as the starting note text?

What do others think? Ideas about the best way to do it in a way that works in
both the terminal and GUI emacs?
