Ok, it's not really an answer to your question, but what I'm doing here
is to set up a "TaskPool" which simply contains all tasks per default
(I'm using planner-multi, so all tasks are on their respective project page
as well as on TaskPool).

To do so, just include
 (setq planner-default-page "TaskPool"))
in your .emacs

In addition the output is a little strange - it doesnt list dates and
the first column is clipped.
