I didn't see your previous posting!

I use M-x plan only once each time I start up Emacs. It takes a long time
to complete, so I try to avoid invoking it when I can.

I use M-x planner-goto-today (which I have bound to C-c C-j C-j) to navigate
back to today's page only if I've used planner-goto-yesterday (C-c C-j C-y)
or planner-goto-tomorrow (C-c C-j C-t) to review other day's notes & tasks.

Otherwise I use C-x b to change buffer back to today's page.

Subject: [Planner-el-discuss] plan vs. planner-goto-today

[ Didn't receive *any* responses to my previous posting ... :-(
maybe more luck with this one? ;-) -khj ]

How do *you* use Planner's 'plan' and 'planner-goto-today' functions?

I understand (I think!) that 'plan' carries "unfinished tasks" forward,
and 'planner-goto-today' doesn't ...

Each morning I normally run 'plan'. If I need to see that page again,
I just run 'plan' again ... maybe I shouldn't be?

Is 'planner-goto-today' redundant?

How do you use these functions?

Thanks,

  -Kenneth
