Hi Raj:

No, I don't create tasks with links to other tasks. But I do add links in
my tasks to notes using planner-create-note-from-task.

There is a reciprocal function called planner-create-task-from-note that
might interest you.

You could create your initial task. Then create a note from it that
describes the outcome of that task and the need for a follow on task. And
then you can create the new task from the note.

You'll have the tasks linked together, albeit to a note.

Subject: [Planner-el-discuss] create followup task from a task

I want to create followup tasks for certain tasks. ?For example - I send an
email, I want to be able to say 'planner-create-followup-task' and a new
task would get created. ?This new task would link to the current task or
the description of the task would be a copy of the task prepended with the
words 'Followup on'. ?This is something similar
to 'planner-create-task-from-note' or 'planner-create-task-from-buffer'

Has anyone done anything similar? ?

Thanks
