Hi, Right now, there is no possibility to place widgets so that they go off the desktop edge. If you place them like that, they pop back in when the widget handles disappear.
The problem is not the first fact, but the pop-back-in behavior is a bit peculiar. Proposed solution would be not to allow widgets to move that far if they can not remain there later. The second thing that (IMO) would cool is to allow the border of the widget to go out of the screen (or not to paint that border at all) but not the contents. In ASCII art, it would be something like this: # is the border of the widget, | is screen edge, + is widget contents Normal widget: | ####### | #+++++# | #+++++# | #+++++# | ####### Widget at the screen edge: |###### |+++++# |+++++# |+++++# |###### Cheerio! -- There is a better way of life and it's not so hard to find If you live and let the people in your world speak its mind -- Deep Purple _______________________________________________ Plasma-devel mailing list Plasma-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/plasma-devel
